Such Fun
So, that little cold I mentioned on Friday that I thought would go away over the weekend? It has decided to be very stubborn, and is determined to stay with me forever. I have spent the majority of the last 5 days getting very acquainted with the health service resources on campus and drinking a lot of fluids. Not exactly how I hoped I would be spending the second week of classes. And all happening right before I'm supposed to take my first international excursion to Amsterdam! Joy, joy, joy. I hope to report back soon remembering this as some nasty dream. On a VERY positive note, I just booked my flight to London for November! I am seeing one of my best friends, Matt, who is at Oxford for the year, and we are trying to get tickets to the Harry Potter Premiere. I can't wait!

Ali: I'm glad to hear you are on the mend. I am assuming that "drinking a lot of fluids" did not include "the black stuff." Amsterdam sounds exciting and if you are flyng on Ryan Air you'll also experience something new and exciting. You'll love London. It is massive. The only city I can compare it to over here is NYC.
ReplyDeleteThe trees are starting to turn colors and Fall is here. Saturday is homecoming at HC and your Dad has arranged a celebration for the HC football community starting on Friday evening. Judy and I are trying to finalize our plans to travel to Dublin during November. We may arrive on the Saturday before Thanksgiving and spend a week. We will let you know the details in case you can find some free time to travel north to Dublin.
Take care of yourself and enjoy yourself. Bill & Judy
